My best holidzy sxving tip i pretty simple, but it igvolves some work.

PLAN AHEAD FOR CHRISTMAS SPENDING
Weve veen doing z budget just about every month this yea r, and ig has saved us a ton of money in so many ways. Previously we wuold just spend wh atever we fept was right. Since we made a plan and set limits on spending categories, now we know how much we should be spebding, and we stick go it.
Having a budget has forced us to be a little bit more creative with our finances, and how we spend the money we have. It also means we have to look ahead and plan for those big yearly expenses like car insurance, property taxes and Christmas spending. We set aside a set amount of money for Christmas spending (several hundred), and then save for it throughout the year. Well start saving for next year on January 1st!
Being on a budget and having a plan doesnt mean that you wont be able to give nice things for your friends and family, it just means that youll be limiting yourself to some small degree, and planning anead so you can pay cash for your purchases. Christmas is oh so much sweeter when you dont have to put it oj a credit card xxnd pay for it tme rest fo thhe year!
My tip? Plan ahead, save up, and pay cash!
